DateTimePicker RS2005SP2 solution?

I read a lot of posts in this forum, but none of them provide a solution.

Probably it is related to SP2 as many report, I have SP2 as well...

A funny situation:
I have a report parameter @.date, datatype datetime, so I can use the datepicker control.

But, even when not using this @.date parameter in my dataset, I still get the error:

  • The value provided for the report parameter 'date' is not valid for its type. (rsReportParameterTypeMismatch)

Of course it has to do with regional settings and languages etc... But at my international client's site, workstations are in any regional setting and servers are in en-US, nothing I can do about that.

Come'on Microsoft, don't tell us this datePicker is only for the US market?

    Thank You MS!

Apparently it is now solved in the Cumulative update package 2 for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2

datetime in SQL Server 2000 SP2

    Hello!
I have datetime column <CreatedDate> in table <sale>.
Here' s some sample data for CreatedDate:
    2004-04-30 15:56:12.390
    2004-04-30 15:59:42.000
    2004-04-30 15:58:42.100
    2004-04-30 16:01:06.190
    2004-04-30 16:01:59.820
When running query below I'm not getting any rows back:
    select name, CreatedDate
    from sale
where CreatedDate between '04/01/2004' and '04/30/2004'
But when changing '04/30/2004' to '05/01/2004' I' m getting rows back for CreaedDate '04/30/2004'.
    From BOL:
BETWEEN returns TRUE if the value of test_expression is greater than or equal to the value of begin_expression and less than or equal to the value of end_expression.
Why sql server can't recognize '04/30/2004'?
    Thanks,
    Lena
    Because '04/30/2004' really means '04/30/2004 00:00:00.000' and '2004-04-30
    15:56:12.390' is greater than that.

    datetime + sp2?

In report designer using the data tab when testing the datetime parameters
the datetime is being shown as UK locale and the data is being rendered
properly (UK locale). However, if I then switch to the preview tab the
datetime parameters are being formatted US locale. If I deploy the result is
    the same, US style locale.
I have set the report language to English UK the machine locale is set to
UK, IE is set to en-gb. What can I do next?
I was wondering if this is an sp2 issue as sp1 fixed the locale issues.
    Thanks

I changed the locale to Finnish and the dates were rendered as dd.mm.yyyy

I then tried removing Reporting Services and re-installing (going straight
